At present, the space for vehicle equipment layout is rather tight, but a brake resistance unit needs to occupy a space of 2016×610×1440(mm). If the on-board resistance is cancelled, this part of space can be fully utilized. Due to the use of on-board brake resistance, the resistance and control system needs to be maintained regularly, which increases the maintenance workload and the purchase cost of spare parts. The ground absorption method is adopted, because no one is on duty for the equipment, the workload of maintenance and repair is greatly reduced. At the same time, the working conditions of the ground equipment are better than that of the vehicle, and the corresponding purchase cost of spare parts is less, which saves the maintenance, accessories and labor costs of the equipment.
